Before last fall he attended Hazelwood East Highschool where he played basketball and excelled in the class with  a GPA of a 3.2, and this school year he had done much of the same. He has been on an ideal student with a current 3.4 GPA whilst also managing basketball. He is also very involved around campus. He has joined Men Of Excellence (MOX) where he has made more connections and contributions to the campus in cleaning community services events, helping my classmates run for positions on the Student Government Association (SGA)and is planning to step up his involvement on campus in these next 3 years. Dashaun is an alum to player under coach Dominique Stringer, and now has returned to learn the ropes. "My involvement now will bring mentorship and leadership to what’s already in place here in this organization. Furthermore it will put in place for me the ability to further build bonds and connections with the kids who come after me. I would be able to bring live lessons and overall just a listening ear to better allow everyone to be heard."
